About the Denali catalyst
The present scenario brings the refiners huge challenges. To keep being competitive and attain their business goals, the refineries are constantly seeking ways of increasing the operating efficiency and maximizing the yield in high- added value products.
The DENALI catalysts result from the combination of the most recent technological developments by FCC S.A. and Albemarle, produced by means of the GRANITE innovative technological platform and designed to provide higher flexibility to the formulation window and improved performance to enable maximization of the FCCU profitability.
By combining the functional qualities of an innovative matrix/binder system and a new zeolite synthesis technology, the DENALI catalysts demonstrate superior coke selectivity, improved bottoms cracking at constant coke and better ability to dissociate the hydrogen transfer activity, essential for light olefins maximization.
The DENALI ACTION catalyst combines the new DENALI technologies with the butenes-selective zeolite technology of the ACTION catalysts, leading to an innovative solution able to deliver still higher butenes yields.
