Impact of the “Goodness Chain” Volunteering Program

The FCC S.A. corporate Volunteering Program – Goodness Chain – Strengthens Social Responsibility Initiatives by making available resources designed to boost volunteering work, securing that corporate initiatives are successful, directly contributing with one of the FCC S.A. values: COLLABORATION.

The role of the company is to foster the program’s activities, performed in partnership with civil organizations, aiming at meeting the needs of the surrounding, vulnerable public. Besides, these practices are registered and monitored to determine their impacts and continuous improvement.

In 2022, the FCC S.A. the volunteering group executed several actions with the community, such as:

Donations for the victims of
floods in Bahia and Petrópolis

One-month Basic Food baskets delivered to 4-member 16 families, with a total of 64 people being helped.

Environment Week

900 plant seedlings planted.

You do + Campaign

Instructions on the destination of a portion of the income tax to the Adolescent and Child Rights Funds and to the Elderly Funds.

Yellow September

Suicide prevention campaign, where Goodness Chain volunteers distributed hugs throughout FCC S.A.

Winter wear Campaign

205 pieces of cloth donated to social assistance organizations.

Elderly Day

31 elderly served, gifts were distributed, haircuts, snacks and jokes.

Blood Donation

Record of 115 registered candidates and 102 blood bags donated.

Solidary Christmas

192 children and adolescents were given clothes, shoes and toys.

By these actions FCC S.A. directly contributed with the following Sustainable Development Goals (SDG):

For 2023, the goal is to add one more cause to the program, contributing with its improvement
