FCC S.A. joins the Citizen Business Program, an initiative which reflects the commitment with the well-being of its employees and their families.
This program, governed by 11.770/2008 Law and improved by 13.257/2016 Law allows companies to extend maternity and paternity leaves, providing extended periods for mothers and fathers to care for their new-born or adopted children.
Maternity leave can be extended for 60 additional days to the 120 already days granted by law and paternity leave can be extended for 15 days beyond the 5 days already granted. During this period employees are paid their integral salary and are safe not to be obliged to have another paid activity or maintaining the child in day-care. Besides, the program also applies to adoption cases, with leave periods adjusted to the child’s age.
By joining this program FCC S.A. shows the importance of balance between professional and personal life.
